- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal and check/money order. Check orders must be drawn in U.S. funds from a U.S. bank and will not begin processing until your payment arrives, which could take up to 5 days.
- How are your shirts printed?
Most of our t-shirts are printed using a process called Flex Printing. Designs are machine-cut from a smooth, flexible material and pressed onto the fabric on a big machine that uses high heat and pressure to adhere them to the shirt.
Some of our prints are sprayed directly on the shirts through a process called Digital Direct printing, which produces a soft, comfortable print that is slightly less vibrant than Flex Printing. We reserve this method for our vintage style shirts, or for designs that have details that are too small to be machine-cut with Flex Printing.
The type of print for every tee is listed on the Product Details page for that shirt.
- Ok, so how durable is it? Will it fade in the wash?
Flex prints are incredibly durable, remarkably comfortable, and will retain their colors throughout a life of regular washing. Seriously, the print will outlast the t-shirt, not the other way around (like
some shirt companies we’ve seen). It has such a high quality look and feel that we actually prefer it to silkscreen, and it will last just as long (probably longer).
Digital Direct prints are also very durable, but colors may fade slightly after a number of washes. Since we mostly use this method on our vintage style shirts, it will only make it look and feel even more vintage over time.
- What kind of t-shirts do you print on?
The type of shirt we use varies with the design, but we always print on the highest quality materials available. In most cases we use American Apparel brand t-shirts, but not always. We also use Fruit of the Loom, Alternative Apparel, Gildan and Bella. The type of shirt is listed on the
Product Details page for that shirt, so you’ll always know what you’re getting. And don’t worry, none of our tees are see-through-thin pieces of junk. We wear what we sell, so we don’t cut corners on quality.
- What do all these weights mean, like Standard Weight, Heavyweight, etc?
Standard weight shirts have a fabric weight of 5.6oz, while Heavyweight clocks in at 6.1oz. What does that mean? Well more fabric means the shirt has a heavier, thicker feel. Some think that extra fabric means higher quality, but all of our shirts are high quality, so it’s really just a matter of preference. The difference between Standard weight and Heavyweight often goes unnoticed by a lot of customers, however more discerning t-shirt wearers will notice.
More noticeable is our AA tee (American Apparel), which has a much lighter fabric weight of 4.3oz, and a more fitted look. This contoured look has become popular in recent years, and their lightness and softness gives them a more vintage feel. We think the best t-shirts are the ones we’ve had the longest and washed the most times, making them incredibly soft and comfortable. AA tees feel that way right off the rack.
The fabric weight of all our tees can be found on the Product Details page for that shirt.
